Girl and boy found dead as woman arrested on suspicion of murder
The two victims died at a house in Stoke-on-TrentA woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the deaths of two people in StaffordshireTheir next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.The discovery came as police rushed to a car wash on Campbell Road at around 2.04pm on Sunday, following reports of an assault involving a man and a woman.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We are continuing to appeal for information and can now confirm that it was two children who tragically died in Stoke-On-Trent yesterday ."He was later taken to hospital by paramedics but has since been released. "Officers then went to a home on Flax Street and arrested a 49-year-old woman from Stoke-on-Trent in connection with the stabbing.
