A school principal has told how tragic graduates Zoey Coffey and Grace McSweeney got “excellent results” in their Leaving Cert just hours before they died.Principal Michael O’Loughlin said: “Today, our school and our town are covered in a cloud of sadness and devastation.
“No words can express our sorrow, pain and grief. Zoey and Grace were two beautiful students loved by everyone who met them and achieved such excellent results on Friday. “Zoey’s personality was warm and vibrant. She was funny, kind and determined. Zoey was a diligent worker and was very popular with her peers and her teachers.Loreto principal Anne McGrath said the school was mourning the loss of Nicole.
“During her time in Loreto, she developed into a young woman who was kind, gentle and witty and she was a trusted and loyal friend.”
