Linthouse Housing Association is interested in buying the old Davislea Care Home in Drumoyne to deliver an “affordable housing project”.
Glasgow City Council’s housing team agreed to fund a feasibility study to consider the “viability, layout, design etc of a new build affordable housing proposal” after the housing association showed interest. “The disposal process to LHA was therefore paused and the HSCP was given a period of time to consider the site and present an alternative proposal.”
Linthouse Housing Association remains interested in the former care home providing “it is viable to do so”, the council report adds.
