A Glasgow star is offering people a chance to break into the music industry with the chance to support him at his headline show..

Scots country star, Kevin McGuire, says the chance is open to emerging talent as he understands how tough it can be to get a break within the industry.with George Bowie after the legendary DJ noticed him on YouTube.And now the country singer has now performed a number of gigs with George Bowie as well as their hit Wagon Wheel, which has had just over 140k views on YouTube and has half a million streams across all platforms.

He said: “Performing Wagon Wheel at Coloursfest with George was bonkers. The crowd were absolutely incredible and were going totally nuts for it."The George shows are so different to my other gigs, so it's my chance to just completely let loose, jump around and totally be in the moment for a few minutes!

But Kev’s feet are firmly on the ground and he is keen to help rising stars get the kind of breaks he has had. “It was never a level playing field for me and it's something I want to change here locally in the music industry.
