Mark Green has been rewarded for his film-buff tendencies

A Glasgow man has been named as the UK's biggest film fan after going to the cinema 208 times in a year.

The 43-year-old, self-confessed movie addict admits to watching multiple films per day and seeing some new releases up to eight times.Marks said he's been a film buff for as long as he can remember with his earliest memory being seeing Ewoks for the first time when watching Return Of The Jedi at the cinema.

Mark said: "The physical act of getting ready to go to the cinema, thinking about what I’m going to watch, the buzz in the screen before the film starts and then the lights dim, and everyone falls silent makes the cinema a much more enjoyable experience to watching a film at home.
