Paula McDonald was left feeling frustrated after an email was sent out about the cancellation just ten minutes before they arrived at the popular winter attraction.
An angry Glasgow mother was left with a devastated daughter after the much-anticipated opening of Elfingrove in the city's west end was delayed by three hours meaning they missed out on their time-slot.
"We arrived at the event today at 11:40 as advised to get there 15 min early to get our skates, only to be told I would have received an email advising the event was cancelled. However, Paula added that although she received an apology email with complimentary hot chocolate and Snow Wheel tickets, she already had tickets for the latter and felt it didn't make up for the time, money or petrol wasted.
