Two of Glasgow's top chippies are set to go head to head against some of the country's best to be named the best around at this year's Food Awards Scotland.
Let's face it, we all love a good fish supper and in Glasgow, we are spoiled for choice when it comes to brilliant places to go.
The finalists for the 10th Food Awards Scotland 2024 have been chosen, and Catch Fish and Chips - which has restaurants in Giffnock, Netherlee and the west end - and the Merchant Chippie in the Merchant City are competing to be named the area's best fish and chips establishment.
