A Glasgow shop owner is sad to close his “goldmine” western store after 38 years.
Now he has launched a major sale and plans to close the doors to the city centre shop at the end of February.“It is a goldmine and an established business, I have loyal customers from all over the UK of people looking for western clothes.
“It is time for me to retire now and move on, I noticed it is slightly less busy because of inflation and I really want to end on a high.“The shop has always been really popular, I will miss it when it closes."Amin hopes to flog all this stock so is encouraging customers to explore their inner cowboy and visit the shop He is alsoHe opened Skin Style in Glasgow in 1985 after noticing a gap in the market for quality leather western wear.
Since then he has made “many friends” and loved his job at the High Street store but is now excited for his next chapter. He is hoping new owners will seek to buy the shop and “modernise” it to keep his loyal customers happy.“I would love a husband and wife to come take over the shop and buy it from me.“When I told people I am closing so many said ‘no don’t do that please’ because it is so popular and there is nowhere else like it.
