Teams from Scottish Water have been working for nearly seven hours to fix a burst 36-inch water main in Milngavie after it burst and caused severe damage to the road.
Around 100,000 properties were impacted by the incident that led to localised flooding and road closures from around 3.45pm on Tuesday.

Once supplies have fully restored, some customers may also experience discoloured water, Scottish Water has said.
"If you experience white water, this is air in the water supply following the interruption and this will settle within 24/48hrs."A spokesperson said: "Glasgow Road, Milngavie, remains closed between Burnbrae Roundabout & the area around the junction with Auchenhowie Rd due to a major issue caused by a burst water main. Auchenhowie Rd remains closed between its junction with Glasgow Road, Milngavie, & Allander Toll Roundabout.
