GMB star Noel Phillips shares horror after teen who racially attacked him walks free
GMB's Noel Phillips has called for tougher sentencing after a teenage thug who racially attacked him in 2022 walked free from jail, as he shared his horror at the incident.
He was subsequently arrested but managed to avoid jail as he appeared before magistrates handed down a rehabilitation order. The presenter shared on Twitter that he had been attacked last year, as he posted a snap of two police officers on an unnamed individual on the ground, over which he wrote: "I was mugged, racially assaulted, and spat on yesterday on a busy street in central London. I’m ok. Just shaken."
“But he managed to take off with a necklace and then that's when I realised having frozen for a couple of seconds, and then gave chase.”
