A GoFundMe for BBC commentator John Hunt’s family has raised £30,000.
The public has raised almost £30,000 for John Hunt’s family in just two days after his wife and daughters were murdered.
Already, 801 donations have been made to a GoFundMe set up to support Carol’s husband and BBC 5 Live commentator John Hunt as well as his third daughter, Amy.The page, set up by racing broadcaster Matt Chapman and Betway’s head of communications Chad Yeomans on Saturday, aims to raise £50,000 and has garnered £28,099 as of Monday morning .has the blessing of John and his family. I am sure, like me, you have been left numb by what has happened.
“Of course, during these devastating times life continues. If we can relieve any stress for the Hunts then why wouldn’t we all do so? Words of support submitted alongside donations have highlighted people’s love and support for the family and condolences after their “unimaginable loss”.
