Gogglebox fan favourite Pete Sandiford says he is unable to afford to give up his day job as a roofer, despite his TV fame

Speaking to the publication at the TRIC Awards, Pete said: "We just saw Eammon Holmes. I am just a builder from Blackpool, so it is a bit strange when celebrities know us. I was on a roof yesterday." Pete is usually tight lipped about his personal life but fans were delighted when they caught a glimpse of his wife, Paige, in April.
