Months after telling Rory McIlroy where to go at a players meeting after the PGA Tour, LIV Golf and DP World Tour merger, Grayson Murray will be back on the Tour

Golf "bad boy" Grayson Murray has got his PGA Tour card back just months after telling Rory McIlroy to "f*** off" during a players meeting.

However, his antics on the course far outweigh his work with a club in hand. At last year's US Open, Murray's temper got the better of him as he threw his putter over the back of the green before snapping an iron over his knee during a frustrating final round at Brookline. Away from the course, Murray has continued to court controversy this year. And at a players meeting at the Canadian Open in the aftermath of the shock PGA Tour, LIV Golf and DP World Tour merger announcement, he got into a back and forth with McIlroy.

In response, McIlroy curtly yelled, "Just play better, Grayson." Murray did not take too kindly to that, telling the PGA Tour player director to "f*** off" in reply.Despite not taking the criticism on board at the time, the American has played better as of late, culminating in winning the Simmons Bank Open last weekend. Before that, after earning some PGA Tour starts, he showed he belongs with two top-ten finishes this summer.
