Gordon Smart made his Good Morning Britain debut on Thursday and proved to be a hit with ITV viewers, as he hosted the morning show alongside Charlotte Hawkins.
As Gordon looks set to become a regular on our TV screens, here we take a look into the journalist's life away from the cameras... "We got engaged 20 years ago this weekend. Think it’s the best decision I’ve ever made," the broadcaster wrote alongside a sweet loved-up snap of him and Kate at home about the pop open a bottle of champagne.
He hosted the Sunday show and then the weekday evening show on Radio X, but left in March 2020 due to ill health. He now works for TalkSPORT on the 4pm to 7pm Drivetime show.
