We've had a look at the forecast for the week ahead
Heavy rain and lingering grey clouds hung over the first night of Nottingham's Goose Fair festival, but the Met Office is predicting brighter skies for the last few days of the 2022 event. Given that this is the first fair held since 2019, the event is having an extended run this year and will not close until 9pm on Sunday .
Thousands are expected to enjoy the rides, games and beverages on offer at the fair over its run, and those doing so towards the end are in line for sunnier weather. Although the week once again kicks off with grey skies and some showers, things are set to brighten by the end of the week. The fair is being held at the Forest Recreation Ground and as well as new additions, firm favourites such as the mushy peas stand and the 'Cocks on Sticks' stall are there. A full forecast is not yet available for the final day of the Goose Fair, but below is what the Met Office is forecasting between Monday and Saturday.
