Gordon Elliott says he would love to run Brighterdaysahead in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival - but the decision will ultimately be made by Michael O'Leary.
Owned by O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud, she could take part in a scintillating clash with Constitution Hill, among others, in the two-mile championship race. "If I had the choice, I would probably run her in it. But Michael pays the bills and he'll make the final decision. And the Meath trainer said he planned to repeat the trick if his mare lined up in the Champion Hurdle."We'd have King of Kingsfield to make the running. We wouldn't want it turning into a sprint. If you watch her at home, she goes around with her ears pricked looking all over the place.
