One family was left “incredibly disappointed” when they were not able to gain access to tickets to Santa's Kingdom in Arnotts on Henry Street this year
Gorey man Derek Byrne shared his heartache over being unable to get tickets to see Santa in Arnotts this year, a tradition he has been following for the last twenty-six years.
According to Derek, those who are signed on to Arnotts loyalty scheme received emails notifying them of the tickets to the Christmas attraction being put on sale, and that the tickets sold out before anybody else could buy them. Arnotts has been an institution in Ireland since 1843, 181 years ago. “Arnotts is part of what we are, Arnotts is older than this state” Joe pointed out when discussing this with Derek.
