It comes after his fiancé Gemma Atkinson opened up on life as a new mum-of-two
Gorka Marquez has issued a public apology to his fiancé Gemma Atkinson whilst addressing his absence from his family over the weekend. The Strictly Come Dancing star, 32, has shared that he had to take some time away from his wife-to-be after she gave birth to their second child last month.
It comes as Gorka has been spending time between London and the couple's Bury home as he trains for the next series of the BBC dance competition which is set to air this September. It has not yet been revealed who the professional dancer will be paired with on the upcoming season. Gemma told her followers that there was a time she struggled to see herself ever feeling like she did in the first photo again.
Instagram "I find I’m not questioning things as much because I’ve done it before & Mia’s turned out bloody brilliant," she added. "It’ll be a while until I’m sat in the garden with a coffee before my gym session, or before I’m getting my hair cut or arranging a brunch. BUT, it will come. It will happen, and the women we were before we became a mum will show her face every now and again and feel great.
