Parents should be aware weather schools
The National Emergency Co-ordination Group has issued an update on schools as low temperatures are set to continue until next Friday.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning for the entire country, from 5pm today until midday tomorrow. Met Eireann has warned of potential travel disruption, damage to car engines, treacherous conditions on paths and roads, the risk of pipes bursting, and increased risks to vulnerable members of the community and animals amid the cold snap.
