Grace is known for being a food critic, but won't be expecting any fine dining in the jungle
Food critic Grace Dent will be swapping the MasterChef judges table for the jungle on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
The Carlisle-born award-winning author is set to join a whole host of other celebrities like Nigel Farage, Jamie Lynn Spears and Sam Thomspon. Grace is set to join fellow campmates in the Australian jungle on Sunday, November 19. Known for her work with the Guardian, and the hit BBC cooking show, Dent went to Stirling University after Cumbria. There she bagged herself an English Literature degree.A show insider told The Sun newspaper: “MasterChef fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants’ food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking.
“But she’ll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials.” Meanwhile, Farage, designed to be this year’s “Marmite character”, is said to have been paid “a huge fee”, with the man himself previously confirming he’s been asked multiple times in the past.
