Graham Rowntree has selected Diarmuid Barron to captain Munster for the potential messy, grudge tie at former coach Johann van Graan's Bath .
Barron is a 26 year-old hooker of whom the grizzled Englishman who was a renowned on-field competitor once said: "He's got credit in the bank with me, has Diarmuid, as a bloke...". There's a Champions Cup starting front-row too in Jeremy Loughman, Diarmuid Barron and John Ryan - Bath can expect no quarter there.
Among the replacements, new signings Bryan Fitzgerald and Diarmuid Kilgallen are also set for their first Munster appearances while Scott Buckley has returned from a short-term loan with Australian side Randwick.
