Grainne Seoige, a former broadcaster, has reacted to her unsuccessful attempt to gain a seat in the Irish parliament (Dail) in the Galway West constituency. Despite facing criticism as a 'celebrity candidate', she emphasized her substantive political experience and expressed pride in her efforts.
