Heavy rain looks set to roll in as Greater Manchester Run participants lace up their shoes - but will it last for the Manchester City parade?
Greater Manchester is set for a stormy Bank Holiday weekend as the clouds roll in - which could have an impact on Manchester City's plans for a bus parade on Sunday to celebrate its fourth successive Premier League title.
The forecaster predicts a cloudy start to Sunday with patchy outbreaks of rain through the morning around the north west region. There will be some brighter skies developing in the south with a few heavy showers breaking out by the afternoon, and a maximum temperature of 18C. It will be followed by a strengthening breeze and outbreaks of rain on Tuesday and into Wednesday. Temperatures will be around average.
