Greater Manchester schools to be hit by FOUR days of teacher strikes in six weeks - full dates and details
Schools across Greater Manchester are set for major disruption as teachers take strike action. Members of the National Education Union are taking industrial action as part of a dispute over pay.
Wednesday, February 1 is the first strike date. All eligible members of the NEU will be walking out across England and Wales on that day. Outside of Greater Manchester, teachers in Wales will walk out on Tuesday, February 14. Teachers in the midlands and the east will walk out on Wednesday, March 1, while teachers in London and the south will strike on Thursday, March 2.
