The Green Party’s intervention comes following Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s calls in the Business Post last weekend to scrap the 32 million cap on passengers at Dublin Airport
Several Green Party elected representatives have hit back at proposals to lift the cap on passenger numbers at Dublin Airport.
Steven Matthews, TD and member of the Oireachtas Transport Committee; and Brian Leddin, TD and party spokesperson on transport, told the Business Post that they have concerns over Dublin Airport’s intention to apply for permission to lift the cap.
