Love Island champion Greg O'Shea took on the iconic Tour De France
‘s athletic abilities are no secret. But now the Limerick man has taken on a new challenge as he completed a leg of the Tour De France.Greg journeyed across the first leg of the iconic trail, L’Etape du Tour de France, as a part of a cycling team. In doing so, the Love Island champion cycled nearly 158 km with a 4000 m incline.
“I just cycled a leg of the Tour de France, and even though it pushed me so far out of my comfort zone I still absolutely loved the challenge,” he wrote on Instagram, as he shared a snap if himself with a race medal.“You can do anything you set your mind to, all you gotta do is bring the right attitude,” he concluded.“Amazing Greg! And in that heat. Fair play,” co-host Gráinne Seoige wrote.“Congrats, hope u enjoyed it,” commented cyclist Nicolas Roche.
“The @letapedutour is 157km long which is obviously difficult in itself, but it’s really the iconic French mountain climbs of 4,100m elevation that has me kinda worried.” “I am buzzing to get to experience this unique event with the @tissot_official team, and even though it’s going to push me so far out of my comfort zone, I honestly can’t wait to see what I learn along the way. You only grow by trying new things and pushing your boundaries !”
