He has his eyes on the prize
The rugby player and reality star has been bitten by the broadcasting bug since being announced as the full-time host of The Six O’Clock Show on Virgin Media last November.
“If I went abroad, hosting A League of Their Own would be so much fun because it’s a mix of sports, presenting, and a bit of craic. Before landing the job on The Six O’Clock Show, Greg had dabbled in TV, radio and podcasts but presenting full-time was his biggest goal.“Relief is one word you could use but it's more so that I feel I’m passionate about something again,” he said.
He said: “I’ve done bits and bobs with presenting since winning Love Island. I did 2FM Breakfast with Doireann Garrihy, then I was creating content for World Rugby but there’s nothing like live TV. “I thought that was very kind of him to say because it must have been tough for him to leave the show after so long.
He said: “The UK market is so much bigger - there are 9 million people in London alone. I was very aware of feeling happy over taking money.
