Mike Cannon-Brookes has told AGL chairman Peter Botten to start preparing for the potential collapse of the plan to split the business.
Mike Cannon-Brookes’ Grok Ventures will seek two seats on AGL Energy’s board if the plan to split the giant electricity supplier fails.
Mike Cannon-Brookes’ Grok Ventures is the biggest shareholder in giant electricity provider AGL Energy.“As we have consistently stated, we believe the demerger is a deeply flawed plan,” he wrote in the letter. Key proxy advisers such as CGI Glass Lewis and Institutional Shareholder Services have yet to come out with a recommendation to clients.
