The GCP, which is Cleveland’s chamber of commerce and has over 12,000 members, announced Monday that Dolan was elected vice chair and chair elect.

He’ll replace current chair Eric Schnur when he leaves in March. Dolan said in a statement that he’s honored by the opportunity. He also serves on several other boards in the area, and was recently appointed to Cleveland State University’s Board of Trustees. “I am particularly energized by the emerging vision for the region and the breadth of collaborative and coordinated initiatives to foster and grow dynamic businesses, develop and deepen talent pipelines, ensure inclusive opportunity, and enhance our community,” Dolan said in a statement.

“This is a transformative period for our region, and we are looking forward to working in partnership with all to make Greater Cleveland even greater.
