Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke about the impact Julian Alvarez had despite a late arrival back into Manchester
Pep Guardiola said that Julian Alvarez is now almost undroppable from the Manchester City team after two assists at West Ham.
Alvarez has now started all five of City's Premier League games so far in this campaign and produced assists for the first two goals to help them win 3-1. Even if Jeremy Doku did the bulk of the work for the first, it was an important contribution for the second and the fact that he continues to be involved in goals adds to his appeal for Guardiola.
"We had doubts because he came from Bolivia with the jet lag, he was so tired the day before yesterday," said Guardiola. "He felt better and we spoke with him last night and he said he felt good.
