A gunman suspected of killing 10 people at a dance hall during Lunar New Year celebrations fatally shot himself in his van as officers closed in.
Officers were seen entering the back of the white van that is believed to belong to the suspect in the Monterey Park shootings
No other suspects are at large and the motive is currently unknown, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said.Officers had been hunting the gunman since the horrific shooting near Los Angeles in California on Saturday night.Five women and five men were left dead at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park.
Just a few minutes later, police entered another white van parked closeby, and it a body was reportedly found slumped in the vehicle.
