Drainage repairs are being carried out on services between two cities this weekend.

Replacement buses will be put in place and valid rail tickets can be used on specific bus routes while "vital drainage work" is carried out.Valid rail tickets can be used on the 9, X39, 1, 5, U5 or 349 buses, GWR advised. Services from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will continue to run but will not stop at Bath Spa or Chippenham.'Maintain reliable services'
Shuttle trains will then run between Swindon and Bath Spa after 19:30 BST on Saturdays and all day on Sundays.GWR's Bath Spa station manager Oana Apetroaie said the improvement work "will enable us to maintain safe and reliable services"."We are providing alternative road transport and rail tickets can also be used on some local bus services in the area to allow passengers to continue their journeys with as little inconvenience as possible.
Mr Hounslow said: "It's really important that this work is done in a timely fashion to ensure that the railway is resilient and can cope with adverse weather."
