Hamilton care home worker to face fear of heights in bungee jump for residents.
A Lanarkshire carer who is terrified of heights is bungee jumping with two colleagues to raise money for vulnerable pensioners.
The trio are taking on the huge challenge to raise money for their workplace, Avonbridge Care Home in Hamilton. All money raised will go towards the Residents' Comfort Fund which will help pay for trips, entertainment and additional activities previously stripped away during the pandemic. She told Glasgow Live: "I am scared of heights, but it’s really only the going up that frightens me. I am fine coming down - but I’ve not tested that by jumping off a bridge yet.
