Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle appeared as 'US versions of the royals' as they visited victims of the LA wildfires, according to a body language expert.
In new photos, the parents-of-two were seen handing out food parcels on Friday at the Pasadena Convention Centre, which is being used as an evacuation centre. In one photo, Meghan can be seen hugging one of the victims of the wildfires tightly, sporting a blue LA baseball cap and crisp white shirt. Judi says the embrace is a "signature" statement from the couple, as she shares: "This seems to have been an immersive experience for Meghan and Harry although, given their signature body language brand, it was always going to be the 'consoling' hugs that would provide the most camera-worthy moments.
Before their appearance at the evacuation centre, Harry and Meghan had spoke publicly to recommended a list of fire service charities, animal groups and other initiatives to support. In a statement, the couple said: "In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighbourhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centres, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life. A state of emergency has been issued.
