Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fell out with the original director of their Netflix show - prompting her to leave the project, according to sources in the US
.
It is understood their first pick to direct their upcoming docuseries was Garrett Bradley, the filmmaker best known for her work on the critically acclaimed series about Japanese tennis sensation Naomi Osaka. “There were a few sticky moments between them, and Garrett left the project. Harry and Meghan’s own production company captured as much footage as they could before Liz Garbus was hired.”Meghan, 41, and Harry, 38, were said to have wanted to make changes to their Netflix show after the Queen’s death in September, amid concerns that viewers would take a dim view of any “truth bombs” that could come out while the royal family was in mourning.
It has previously been reported that the show was expected to air this year but had been delayed - with Netflix bosses apparently “rattled” over the backlash against season five of The Crown and its lack of historical accuracy.
