Recently, voice expert Susie Ashfield claimed on TikTok that Netflix edited words out of the Queen’s 21st birthday speech “to change the meaning of the statement entirely.”, claims that the line in her speech where Queen Elizabeth declares that her “whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and to the service of our great Imperial family to which we all belong,” is altered.
Ashfield, who is a staunch fan of the royal family, said that a friend brought the speech editing to her attention. Recently, it was revealed by a voice coach on TikTok that the Queen’s 21st birthday speech had been edited by Netflix “to change the meaning of the statement entirely.”The TikTok — which was published Tuesday and has gained nearly 707,000 views — claims one line in the Queen’s birthday speech has been altered.Tiktoker and voice coach Susie Ashfield said that change can be heard in the series’ third episode.
