The centre was sin-binned during the 61-0 defeat to Catalans Dragons.
Harry Newman's future as a Leeds Rhinos player was the subject of conversation among Sky Sports' pundits following the club's humiliating defeat against Catalans Dragons. The centre was sin-binned during the 61-0 defeat in what was a miserable night all round for the club.
Earlier in the week, England coach Shaun Wane said he would not accept some of the centre's on-field behaviour, going on to admit he would 'probably not' be included in his 24-man squad for the Tonga Test series later this year. Newman is off-contract at the end of the year and Sky Sports host Brian Carney brought up the subject of his future after the game, with Paul Cooke believing the Rhinos need to make a decision.
He added: "He's not a young kid any more so you're not someone coming through the ranks who doesn't know the ropes. He knows exactly what it takes to be a professional rugby league player and sooner rather than later he has to fulfil his potential. Potential and time is a big thing in rugby league.
