The inquiry is scrutinising how Scotland responded to the pandemic.

Former Convenor of the pandemic Recovery Committee, Siobhian Brown, says residents across the region should get in touch to share their experiences.

Mrs Brown took evidence from experts and the public during her spell on the Recovery Committee, which focused on issues such as long Covid and workforce shortages. She said: "I recently tested positive for Covid-19 and this has only highlighted the significance of vaccination in safeguarding our health, the health of our loved ones, the elderly and the vulnerable. The Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry is actively seeking input from individuals and groups who wish to share their pandemic experiences. This is crucial and will help us understand how to better prepare.

"By participating in the ‘Let's Be Heard: Sharing Scotland's Covid Experience' campaign you can play a vital role in helping to shape the inquiry's findings and recommendations.”
