Do you think keeping the ban is fair?
Originally imposed as a Covid safety measure, the consumption of alcohol was prohibited on ScotRail services first in November 2020 and to this day remains in place.
We want to ask you, do you think the policy should remain in place or do you think travellers should be given the option to consume alcohol on ScotRail services? Stephen Elliot, ScotRail security manager, said: "The alcohol restrictions on ScotRail services were introduced during the pandemic to help support Covid-19 precautions and mitigations, and help us deliver a safe environment for people to travel by train.Alcohol can be bought and consumed on cross-border trains with services that are not ScotRail trains.
