The final ever Succession episode will be approximately 90 minutes long
This is it. This is the end. Five years, four episodes, countless"Fuck off!"s, and 39 episodes later,The final episode, titled With Open Eyes, will be directed by Mark Mylod, who has directed every season finale of the show, and written by Jesse Armstrong, creator of the show, who has also written every season finale of the show.
Much like the Roy children, all wandering into the succession battlefield with their eyes open, they are blind to the aftermath of their actions. As Kendall, Roman and Shiv all attempt to outmanoeuvre each other so they can keep the biggest piece of Logan's legacy for themselves, as the ninth episode reveals, they're literally destroying the world around them in the process.
The trailer for the final episode sets the mood brilliantly, while also keeping exact details to a minimum. What is causing Matsson to lose his mind so dramatically? What has happened to cause Kendall to collapse so publicly? And we're seeing some characters return from the woodwork that we haven't seen in a while. Yeah, this is going to be something special...
