UFC star Paddy Pimblett feels vindicated after Dawrin Nunez came off the bench to help Liverpool win the Community Shield.for the club as Liverpool made a big statement with a commanding 3-1 win over their Premier League title rivals on Saturday.Erling Haaland, who is regarded by many as one of the best strikers in world football, had a day to forget in what was his first real game for his new club.
“Haaland is very injury prone and I think he’ll miss a good portion of the season through injuries. I think Nunez is the type of player, he doesn’t miss games, he wants to play every game like [Luis] Suarez.”in his very next game – a pre-season win against RB Leipzig – before watching him get on the scoresheet when it really mattered against Man City.
“Then obviously Haaland missed a sitter on Saturday, and Nunez scored, just proving me right. He’s gonna continue to prove me right all season, I know he is.”
