HSE chief executive lays out resourcing strategy for next year amid budget fallout
The health service will enter 2024 from a “very constrained and challenging financial position”, the chief executive of the HSE will tell an Oireachtas committee meeting on Tuesday.
Bernard Gloster said that although services will continue unaffected next year, initiatives and programmes announced in recent years won’t be expanded but rather “consolidated” as the HSE deals with the fallout from this year’s budget.
