The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is closed to admissions from maternity, newborn and children, as one of its hospitals is experiencing issues with a generator.
Health bosses made the announcement yesterdayevening as a precaution, but say support is being provided from neighbouring hospitals.
The Trust has confirmed that contingency plans are in place to minimise disruption and to ensure the safety of its users. "As a precaution, the Trust is currently closed to admissions from maternity, neonates and children and support is being provided from neighbouring hospitals.
