Niall Kieran was cycling in France with his father Gerry when the accident happened
Tributes have been paid to a Dublin cyclist who died while on a cycling trip to France with his father at the weekend.
Mr Kieran's cycling club Orwell Wheelers CC said he will be "sorely missed". They wrote online: "It is with deep sorrow that we have to share the news of the tragic passing of clubmate Niall Kieran in a cycling accident last weekend.READ MORE - Gardai investigating cold case murder of woman found decapitated 20 years ago appeal for information
"Niall will be sorely missed by all those in the club who knew him. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences especially go out to Gerry. The club extends its deepest sympathies to all the extended Kieran family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis."
