Tributes are being paid to a man who tragically lost his life following an incident on a farm in Co Kerry on Friday.
The man has since been named locally as Garrett Dee, a father-of-two from Carrig Island whose family run a B&B in the area. Mr Dee's death has sent shockwaves through the local community, with friends and neighbours sharing heartbreaking tributes to the popular farmer, who has been described as 'a lovely man' and 'a gentleman'.
A third person said: "Sincere sympathy to you Patricia and the Dee family and also to the Diggin family on the death of your beloved Garrett.The tributes from neighbours and friends are a testament of his goodness. May Garrett rest forever in the peace of the Risen Christ."
