Leading baby products brand Hello Bello is launching the Diaper Registry Fund to take on the critical and growing diaper need crisis, which currently affects more than one in three U.S. families.
Although supporting families and various causes has always been a priority for Hello Bello—and its cofounders, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard—the new fund takes it even further. “We’ve always been committed to being there when parenting gets messy, and navigating without diapers is a new level of mess that no parent or caregiver should ever face,” says Bell.
As a first-to-market solution that fuses a traditional gift registry with the power of crowdsourcing, the Diaper Registry Fund allows consumers to donate to anyone’s fund, be it their friend’s or that of a charitable organization or cause. Once a donation is made, funds are immediately available to the registrant to purchase a monthly diaper subscription or any other Hello Bello essentials.
“At the time of launch, we knew one in three families in the U.S. struggled to afford diapers, but those have been exacerbated by the pandemic and further with today’s inflation,” Bell explains. “We felt there was something more we could do and should do. In addition to the millions of diapers we’ve donated, we’re fortunate to have such a passionate and engaged community that also wants to help.”
