It’s officially the weekend, and that means it’s officially time to learn all about what the team has been into this week.Lucky we’ve got some nice bits to distract us from the humidity.I’m not usually a big powder girl.
I like a cream, I like a liquid, I like a spray, and that’s it.But, as we know, powders aren’t all bad. In fact, some of them can be excellent. I’ve recently discovered that Laura Mercier’s new Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur is just that. The product was formulated to perfection to bring skin to life, and includes peachy-pink pigments to instantly brighten, amino acid and silica powder to create a soft-focus effect and hyaluronic acid that hydrates.Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam. So I think it’s really important that we use our cúpla focal – if that means you say “Go raibh maith agat” in the shop or speak Irish fluently, let’s keep our national language alive. In recent years, Irish has gotten a bit of a boost with the likes of Kneecap taking the language international, Paul Mescal speaking as Gaeilge on the red carpet and our very cool content creators on social media helping to raise the profile of the language. I’m currently bet into Gaeilge i Mo Chroí le Molly Nic Céile, the book by the social media star behind the movement of the same name. It’s all about keeping Irish close to our hearts and having pride in our native tongue.I generally tend to have good skin. It’s bright, it’s firm, and it gets a few compliments here and there. It does its job and that’s fine by me. The skin under my eyes, however, does not. It’s dark, it’s hollow, and looks like I get three hours sleep a night even though my slumbers do generally be quite good. I’ve recently started using JS Health’s Illuminating Peptide Eye Serum and I’m already starting to notice a difference. The serum promises to firm, de-puff, and brighten, and honestly, it’s only been a few days but I’m already starting to look less wrecked. The Rose Of Tralee kicks off this week, and to celebrate SuperValu sent Team STELLAR out a beautiful bottle of rosé to enjoy. SuperValu have a whole range of gorgeous rosés in store to choose from, including Screaming Devil, SJP’s Invivo, and Whispering Angel.
