During the first seven days of early voting, 22,091 Democratic primary ballots were cast compared to 20,664 Republican ballots.
In the primary election, voters will be choosing party nominees for local, state and federal offices who will face off in the general election on Nov. 8.
Among voters in the Republican primary, Brookhollow Library was the busiest voting center, drawing 1,878 voters, followed by Parman Library at Stone Oak with 1,552, Igo Library with 1,465, Semmes Library with 1,305 votes and Shavano Park City Hall with 1,227.
