Love Island might be all about the romance but for host Maya Jama it’s the furthest thing from her mind.
However, Maya confirmed to The Times, that she is “really, really single” but that might not be by chance, having a lot to do with her new Love Island gig. Saying: “I know Maya, we used to work together on Radio 1 and I know for a fact that while she’s on Love Island she wants to keep it all about the show and make sure she doesn’t get caught out.”So seems like we shouldn’t expect Maya to couple up with anyone, anytime soon, as she focuses on her career.
On her first week presenting Aftersun actually had more viewers than that night’s Love Island episode. With Love Island being watched by 1.51 million viewers while 1.82 million tuned into Aftersun.
