Shopping centre security guard Gavin Plumb, 37, pleaded not guilty to the charges of soliciting to commit murder and incitement to kidnap when he appeared in court last year - his trial begins today
Last year saw former This Morning host Holly Willoughby pulled off air after an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her was uncovered, with shopping centre security officer Gavin Plumb being arrested for the alleged plan.
It was meant to be just a regular Thursday for the mum-of-three, with the presenter at ITV studios preparing to host This Morning on 5th October when she was informed of the terrifying plot and pulled off-air, the Mirror UK reports. Holly was said to be under “around-the-clock police guard” in the hours that followed, with officers spotted outside her London home, which she shares with husband Dan Baldwin and their three children.
“This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I will forever be proud of what we have done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.
